UPDATE: Pacific Islands Club donates $20,000 to fight cancer

 Pacific Islands Club donated $20,000 to help fight cancer in the community.

For the last four months PIC employees have organized numerous fundraising events in an effort to raise money they can donate towards the fight against cancer, according to a release from the hotel.

After extensive hard work, PIC is proud to announce they surpassed their original goal of $15,000.

PIC recently held an illumination ceremony to commemorate friends and family who are affected by cancer.

Following the ceremony was a check presentation of $10,000 to the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation and $10,000 to Guam Cancer Care.
